Web Designers' Edge – The Self-Taught Designer's Best Friend

Welcome To Web Designers’ Edge!

Tim NortonWeb Designers’ Edge was started in early 2009 to help web designers who don’t have Ivy League design pedigree and education, become more knowledgeable and skillful at the art and science of web design.

The articles are published by various authors who have the same passion for helping new designers get ahead, and it usually contains about 3 articles on all areas of design, coding, graphic design, business, and many more topics. The whole point is to give you some helpful arrows in your quiver so you can become a better and better designer. The tone is sometimes edgy, because I really want the web designers who are out there trying to make a living, to benefit.

I’m currently looking for more guest authors, so get in touch with me here, if you have any interest in writing for our newsletter. You’ll have a special author page on this website, so free publicity for you!

I hope you bookmark this site, sign up for the FREE newsletter if you haven’t already, and stick around!

  • Hey Tim! The site looks great - very excited to contribute to a such a great, growing project!

Random thought, would it be possible in the "Newsletter" section to group the articles by the newsletter that they were in? Maybe based on the date the newsletter went out? It might give it a different style of organization that would help folks associate the site back to the newsletter a little easier. Random - mostly curious!

    All the best!

  • Hi Heather! Awesome idea about the organization, I'm going to work on something like that, I agree it needs to be done.
  • Glad you decided to make a blog as well as the newsletter. You might want to add a search bar though, make it a little easier for people to find stuff.
  • I've been wanting to for a while Kris, and with guest authors I wanted to do them justice by having a bio on the blog rather than a link in a newsletter. And searchbar definitely, I'm not decided where I want it, might be in the header area, but it's coming. Thanks for stopping by!
  • Congrads with the site. Looks good, looks clean, and sure with good information.
I'll keep track of you in my Feedreader!
  • Hey thanks a lot! And any feedback is always appreciated! Thanks for reading ...
